Who I am

Meridian is an independent study resource, run under the registered business name Meridian Preparation, based in Australia. I am not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by ACER or the GAMSAT. GAMSAT® is a registered trademark of ACER, and I use the word only to describe what my materials help you prepare for.

What Meridian offers

Right now, Meridian is free. You can sit full-length, timed practice mocks for GAMSAT Sections I, II and III. There is nothing for sale at the moment. I am not currently selling downloadable resources or essay marking. My practice questions are original materials I have written to resemble the style and difficulty of the exam. They are not real or past GAMSAT questions.

Signing in and your account

To sit a mock you sign in with your email (a six-digit code) or with Google or Facebook. Please keep your sign-in secure and do not let others use your account. The Section 1 and Section 3 mocks are designed to be sat once per person, the Section 2 mock can be re-sat with fresh writing tasks, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

The free mocks

The mocks are provided free and “as is”, in early access. They may contain errors, and I improve them over time using how people answer (see the Privacy Policy). Your score and percentile are indicative feedback to help you practise. They are not an official result, and they are not a prediction or guarantee of any particular GAMSAT score or outcome.

How your responses are used

When you sit a mock, your responses are recorded and analysed to check and improve the questions, as explained in my Privacy Policy. You agree to this on the consent screen before a mock starts.

Emails I send you

Your score and worked solutions stay on the site, where you can revisit them any time. Later I may email you the upgraded question sets your sitting helped build, free, and, after GAMSAT results are released, one short email asking how you went. If you opt in, I will also send occasional updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

How you may use my materials

The website, its text, design, logo, and all the questions, solutions and other materials are original works that belong to me or are used with permission, and they are protected by copyright under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). Using Meridian gives you a personal licence to use the materials for your own GAMSAT preparation only. It does not give you any ownership of them, and you cannot pass your access on to anyone else.

You may not copy, photograph, record, screenshot, transcribe, republish, post, resell or otherwise share or distribute the questions, solutions or any other content, in whole or in part, whether publicly or privately, without my written consent.

I take leaks of my question material seriously. Access to the mocks is tied to your account, and files I deliver may carry identifying marks. If you breach this section I may suspend or close your account and withdraw your access, I may require leaked copies to be taken down wherever they appear, and I reserve the right to take legal action, including claims for copyright infringement and for breach of these terms.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it or bypass its security, do not attempt to extract or copy the answer keys or the question bank, do not scrape the site, and do not create multiple accounts to sit a mock more than once or to distort the data.

Links to other websites

My site may link to other websites, such as Google for sign-in. I am not responsible for the content or practices of websites I do not control, and using them is at your own risk.

Disclaimers

My mocks are independent study materials provided for educational purposes. Practising with them does not guarantee any particular result in the GAMSAT. I am not affiliated with or endorsed by ACER.

My responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. The mocks are provided free of charge, and to the extent permitted by law my liability to you in connection with the site and the free mocks is limited accordingly.

Privacy

How I handle your information is covered by my Privacy Policy.

Paid products in future

If I start offering paid products or services later (such as downloadable resources or essay marking), additional terms, including payment and refund terms, will apply, and I will make them available at that time.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows when. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and this service is intended for users in Australia.
